    ste disco esta basado en el libro «Rebelión en la Granja» de George Orwell el cual clasifica a las personas en Perros, Ovejas y Cerdos estos últimos lideres poderosos y malvados.
    En esta canción Waters dividio a los cerdos en tres tipos de personas.
    Los primeros son los grandes empresarios, que no dicen nada de corazón, son hipócritas, mentirosos y estan dispuestos hasta revolcarse en la basura con tal de tener más dinero.
    El segundo cerdo, en este caso cerda es Margaret Tatcher, en ese entonces Primer Ministro de Inglaterra, aunque va dedicado a todos los líderes del mundo, que con tal de ser más poderosos y respetados no les importa causar guerras y sacrificar gente inocente.
    Y el tercer cerdo al que se refieren es Mary Whitehouse quien era una dirigente pro censura, que en los inicios de Pink Floyd decía que la banda promovia las drogas y el sexo. Entonces Waters se referia a las personas que tratan de callarnos y privarnos de nuestra libertad, tratando de decirnos que debemos de hacer y pensar, (Intentando mantener nuestros sentimientos fuera de calle) como si fuera superior a nosotros
